The single-ended square, shear-beam load is a versatile choice for many low to medium different applications, conveyors, tanks, scales, etc. Well suited for outdoor use with the IP67 ingress protection rating. It is also compact and low profile, well suited for applications where space is at a premium. The working principle is very simple—with two mounting points to secure the load cell solidly, and a single tapped hole—where the force/ load is applied, creating a shear force measurement.
